I wanted the guy to be a cheeky and rough local guy, perhgaps with Greek or Turkish blood. A wiry, tough guy whose image and reputation is important. A lot of energy, so in the animation have him whizzing between poses.
At the end when the white pots wanted the guy to collapse in despair onto the pool table - some sketches for how he would collapse.
